Yes. The free tier is designed so a parent with one child competing in one ring can get through an entire tournament day without ever being asked to pay. Premium unlocks features for power users — multiple rings, season history, and more.
You can use RingWatch as a Guest without an account and your data stays on your device. Live Ring Updates — where scores sync across devices in real time — require a connection. Tournament venues with poor cell service may affect live sync.
A Guest uses the app without signing in — your data stays on your device only. A Free Account is still free but saves your data to the cloud, syncs across devices, and enables Live Ring Updates where scores entered by anyone in the ring appear on your screen instantly.
Yes — Premium was built with instructors in mind. You can run multiple active rings simultaneously, use Shared Ring Mode to coordinate with other scorers, track your full roster's performance across the season, and export results to share with parents.
